Don was survived by his wife Deborah; and son J.J. Wilkins and daughter BriAnna Derek of Lincoln; brothers and sisters-in-law Gary “Michael” and Sue Wilkins, Joe. S. and Sandra Wilkins all of Hopkinsville, KY; Ronald W. and Peggy Wilkins of Lexington, KY; Jimmy L. and Jackye Wilkins of Henderson, KY; William E. and Barbara Barry of Eddyville, KY; William P. and Missy Wilkins of Nashville, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law Marilyn and Robert Gilliam of Anaheim, CA; Martha L Wilkerson of Tampa, FL; Pollyan and Eugene Grace of Hopkinsville, KY; and sister-in-law Sharon Wilkins of Hopkinsville, KY. Don was preceded in death by his parents Lehman and Mary Thomas Wilkins; brother Lehman T. Wilkins and brother-in-law Jerry Wilkerson.

Services for Don were held on Monday, September 29 at Butherus-Maser & Love Mortuary, 4040 A Street. Memorials to the Wilkins Children’s Education Fund.
