Kathy K. Dusenberry (Reid) was born on May 1, 1947, in Glenwood, Iowa to Neal and Elaine (Fisher) Dusenberry. She died in Lincoln on February 23, 2004.

Kathy graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School and attended the  University of Nebraska. She worked for the State of Nebraska’s Region V, which coordinates mental health services for a 16-county area.

Kathy married Ivan Reid, of Lincoln, in 1983.

Survivors include her husband Ivan; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and George W. Hayes III of Lincoln; granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Hayes; parents retired Judge Neal and Elaine Dusenberry of Lincoln; aunt Darlene Dennis of  Omaha; aunt Karen and uncle Fred Braun of Wahoo; and numerous cousins and friends.

Memorial services were held at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 O St. A reception in Wyuka’s Garden Room followed the services. Memorials were recommended to the American Diabetes Association.
