Tod was born in Lincoln, NE. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Tod was a veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
Tod is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Van Ashmun; brothers Raymond of New York City; and Jay Ashmun and Dale Ashmun both of Lincoln; grandparents Mrs. Ruth Ashmun of Falls Church, VA; and Rhese Meares of Sarcoxie, MO.
Services for Tod were held on March 20 at Holy Trinity Episcopal, 60th & A Street in Lincoln. Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials to the church.

Jim Moses
Tod Ashmun was a childhood friend and close nieghbor. My father took many 8mm movies of us playing as kids. We reconnected in high school and college and spent many hours together. I still regret the fact i was stationed in San Diego when Tod died. I still miss him and think of our good times often. Rest in peace my dear friend. Jim Moses
