Vicki Lynn Vondane (Zak), formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska, died peacefully on January 27, 2014, in Flat Rock, North Carolina. She lost her battle with diabetes and kidney disease while in Hospice care.

Vicki is survived by her children Anthony (Bob) Ballard, Judi (Chris) Schroeder, John (Elizabeth) Ballard, James (Robin) Zak, Michael (Jennifer) Zak and Melissa (Marc) Simmons. Vicki is also survived by her mother-in-law Bertha Zak, 11 grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, Vicki’s life will be celebrated by her children in a private ceremony.
