Husband, father, grandfather and brother – Peter Bolen Durham died in the evening of February 25, 2021, from complications due to dementia. He was preceded in death by his mother WASP pilot Lois Durham, his father Robert Wilbur Durham and his first wife Mary Ellen Durham.

Pete, a former US Marine and Vietnam Veteran, was survived by his wife Nancy, his children Jill and Chris, and his stepchildren and step-grandchildren. He loved to spend time with the children and grandchildren and watch them play.

Pete retired after 35 years and nine months of service with the Los Angeles Police Department. He spent his retirement years enjoying skiing and traveling with Nancy. Sunday night dinners with his family and a good lemon drop martini every now and then.
