This is indeed sad news.  Ron and I were active in scouting together and spend many years very involved in DeMolay.  We made some fond memories and had some great times.  As I recall, we even did some double dating during the times that was popular.  Even though many of us disconnected upon graduation from high school or graduation from the university, it always seemed that beats were never missed when chance would bring us back together during visits or reunions in Lincoln.  Sadly, there will no longer be any such earthly re-connections with Ron.  We will have to hope we will all see each other again at that final big reunion, be patient good friend, we will eventually all be in attendance with you.

I did not know Ron well, but am saddened to hear of his passing.  I remember our LSE years and passing all these friendly faces in the halls.  You are in my thoughts Ron and God Speed to heaven.

I must confess, I did not know Ron verywell. We were in DeMolay together and I think we may have had some classes together. As I remember he was a nice guy. He will be missed, i'm sure by his close friend and to them I express my sorrow for their loss.
